Based in Rome and Berlin, Pornophonix project comes to life through the binding of the various genre aptitudes of the players, an extremely wide range of sounds, starting from hip-hop, crossing to jazz/funk and ending up on more "thoughtful" tones. Every track tells a well-framed story, refined upon the process of tieing up the electronic sound of the MPC with acoustic instruments such as bass guitar, guitar, keyboard and wind section.
Il progetto Pornophonix, con base a Roma e Berlino, nasce come crocevia di esperienze musicali diverse, principalmente legate alla musica hip-hop, al soul, al funk e al jazz.
I brani sono racconti veri e propri, costruiti sul legame fra il lavoro elettronico svolto con l'MPC e una importante componente strumentale composta da basso, chitarra, tastiere e fiati.
